With the tree Faux Batik exercise I had intended to stamp the text in VersaFine Vintage Sepia but it was too indistinct so whilst the ink was still wet I quickly sprinkled it with Detail Black Embossing Powder & heat embossed it. Had the text not been a requirement of this exercise I would not have chosen to stamp the text over the tree. Personally this is what I am finding so useful about a structured course - I am doing things that I would otherwise not try & learning to think round problems as I become more familiar with both techniques & materials.

omg i love all of these i need to try some of these techniques i can't wait to get a brayer but then of course i will need some of those rainbow inks i do have a couple of the triple colour ones from brilliance but i will need those ones you use i love the techniques you have been doing i shall learn so much from you thankyou so much for sharing your work its brilliant hun xx
Paula, it's wonderful to see you embracing all of the exercises with such meticulous attention to detail, I'm seriously impressed and love that you're trying things out you wouldn't have done by yourself.
Practise is definitely the best way to learn.
